RASH DRIVING...................

Its not the first time that the teenagers in their youthful glory have been on the pyre of immaturity, experimentations, exploring the fun of life and ending up with the thick smoke of undefining the limits. This is quite natural a human tendency to follow the easy way than put one's wisdom to use in determining the pros and cons. That's what youth is. An urge to explore all that one can lay his hands on, a feeling of adulthood----where if one can vote at 18--why can't he decide to drink or not-------the arguement often exploded by the nouveau savvy anchors like Barkha Dutt and weave into national debates, hopp on to a few celebrities who are ever so amused to rake up the fundamental issues and moral police the society of its rights -----forgetting that such rights are life-threatening when not encapsuled with the duties that preceed it.

Well I am sure Barkha Dutt and her media folks have a new topic for their weekly debates and sure its going to push the TRPs as it touches every household and sensiblites of human nature. Haven't we been witnesses to holy scriptures read out by the likes Vijay Mallaya to harp on the "right to decide to drink or not " issue to the concerned individual and his fervent appeals which are as measured in shrinking proportions as the scantly dressed women he enjoys to be potographed with- that we continously keep seeing mothers shedding their tears or people being orhaned by such ruthless drunk brats whom possibly Vijay Mallaya has not been able to convince his favourite holy mantras of --DON'T DRINK WHILE DRIVING, DRINK SENSIBLY, DRIVE WITHIN THE LIMITS, DRINK GOOD BRANDS obviously KINGFISHER and blaa blaa......The kind of educatve drinking which he religiously proposes and deftly articultes to forward his line of business is nothing but a good media joke which he never misses to exploit on his T.V. jaunts........If that be so K.PS. GILL or the latest case of a DIG molesting an IAS Vandana Preyasi on a mooving train apart from the daily quota of young spoiled brats killing people on the roads wouldn't have been occuring at so thundering and deafening a speed that the next venture turns out to be the mortury..................
Is it at the first place to say that IPS officers or for that matter the affluent educateed parents of these teenagers aren't capable enough of understanding and demarcating b/n utter nonsense in drunk driving and DRIVE SENSIBLELY or DRINK WISELY themes of the protagonist in the likes of Mallaya and company. Forget about the accused getting killed for whom my sympathies are as good as extinct but how about the innocent people they drag and run over.
In the Gurgaon hit and run case which media highlighted so well and then subsequently found the follow-ups against the TRP current, the father of an accused driving a luxury car making a guard loose both his legs was shamelessly putting a tag of 50,000 as compensation citing his financial crisis as an excuse.

Well the point is -------------how long and how far can this utter disregard of the rights fervently taken on the plea of fundamental rights be allowed to be mocked by the inefficiency of the law enforcing agencies coupled with the human insensitivity??????????????????????
