THE IMPOTENT THACKERAY

On one hand where the dynastic Thackerays managed to hit the headlines chanting Sachin’s name, the other cousin sidelined by the sycophant uncle had his appearance felt in one of the functions of Nee-Marathi channel.

The best part was the tight slap of Asha Bhonsle who minced all words that she could in chaste Marathi about Mumbai being for all Indians and that any Indian could go anywhere and earn his bread and butter.

Sitting and watching with fused and shaken demure and feeling the punch of the gloves in Marathi by a Marathi, Raj Thackeray finally got the taste of his hatred-oriented communally murderous line of action being punctured by a Legendary Nightingale who has seen the spirit of Bombay growing up much before Raj stopped wetting his bed.

Perhaps these mentally unstable Thackerays would do better justice to keep the chair vacant in such functions than to occupy it to measure their impotent political clout.
