Sachin created history on 24th Feb 2010 when he scored a double century. Never ever in the history of mankind had anyone been exalted in his career and bagged so many laurels. Sachin not only epitomizes the greatest and the farthest a player can reach but at the same time eulogizes the spirit of oneness with patriotism writ large in his persona.
The man who brought all that a game can give – “kissing his feet” with utmost hard work, sincerity and devotion but maintaining his humble approach in the midst of his oceanic success is what makes him shine like a diamond in the night sky…….. And dedicating the only feat that no man has ever achieved to the Nation and its people truly makes him a “DIVINE IDENTITY”.
The shameful Thackerays who took on Sachin to fuel their sagging political fortunes must hang their heads in shame. These buffoons are the ones who should apologize. One thing they should learn from him is his humbleness to dedicate the wonderful feast to the Nation. The kind of vicious circle they created; the immense mental torture they thrusted; the phobia these hooligans evoked raking up the usual Marathi-manoos syndrome, the kind of anguish they let him suffer – Sachin as usual has through his actions and karmas, demonstrated how well a sixer he can shoot on such flimsy googlies – so much so that the ball vanishes in the sky of his patriotism and gentle behavior.
Thackerays compared Gavaskar saying that during his captaincy 5 – 6 players were from Maharashtra whereas Sachin didn’t promote even one player.
The very fact that Gavaskar publicly expressed his wish to touch Sachin’s feet takes the wind out of sails that eccentric Thackeray and the company erected to garner such cheap publicity.
That Nation is “supreme” and motherland “our soul” – our Unity in Diversity -“out heart” and all religions and regions “our veins and arteries” connected to our heart. Sachin personifies Excellence of Workmanship with deep patriotism.
Thackerays must call their bluff off and hang their heads in “SHAME”.
