Ansari’s cakewalk over the Women’s Bill

Hamid Ansari deserves kudos for efficiently handling the House during the Women’s Reservation Bill that was passed by a majority of 186 – 1. One could see not only the ferociousness that is needed to counter the lumpen MPs but the grace and dignity which he maintained even while admonishing the hooligans (wearing the garb of Members of Parliament) ----is what makes him a man of discipline, a person strong enough to take quick and tough decisions – someone who means business with a no non-sense approach.\

History would recall many in his shoes in the past have literally given-in to their nerves and broken down while handling the goondaism and humiliation of these official goons of the Parliament.

It is but unfortunate to see the standards and qualitative aspect of these MPs who look more as rowdies on the street and criminals of the most heinous crimes. No wonder 1/5th of the Parliamentarians have cases ranging upto 30 – 40s; including as barbarious and heinous as rapes, murders, attempt to murder, threatening, abductions, floundering the coffers of our Nation, frauds, etc.

Tearing off the copies of the Bill, throwing of microphones and other stationaries, spilling the torn pieces on the Vice President and humiliating him can no longer be termed as the accepted ways to oppose in any progressive democratic society. More than this, the limit was crossed when even after being physically thrown out of the house by Marshals - these loafers of our freat democract had the cheek to justify their act even to the extent of repeating it--- in the most vociferous tone of their voices.

Although there have been a few instances where I would really not agree with Mr. Ansari’s views and his way of working but the present case exposes his mettle and grit in maintaining the decorum of the House under the most severe and volatile conditions. Until some severe hard talking is not done and their rabid bark not tamed or till the time all parties do not filter out the best of the talent----- the day belongs to Mr Hamid Ansari.

Well, he is one man who knows the skill of having the cake,

and.....EAT IT TOOOOOOOOOOO .
